Ingredients

  • 1/2 lemon, cut into wedges

  • 1-inch piece fresh ginger, peeled and sliced

  • 4 sprigs fresh mint

  • 1 1/2 teaspoons honey

  • 1 to 2 oz water

  • Ice

Directions

  • Muddle the ingredients: In a glass, add the lemon wedges, sliced ginger, and fresh mint sprigs. Using a muddler or the back of a spoon, gently mash the ingredients together to release the flavors.
  • Sweeten with honey: Drizzle in the honey and continue to muddle until it’s well mixed with the lemon juice and other ingredients.
  • Add water: Pour in 1 to 2 ounces of water to dilute the mixture slightly. Stir well to combine.
