Contributing To WholeLiving

Whole Living upholds exceptionally high standards for its contributors. Our writers have been featured in prestigious publications like The New York Times, The Washington Post, and Huffington Post, among others. We carefully review each submission within two weeks of receiving it. If you do not hear back from us within that timeframe, please assume we were unable to publish your piece. You are welcome to submit another article for consideration.

To apply as a Whole Living contributor, please follow the steps below.

Create a Whole Living account

Write an awesome article that you think would be a fit for the readers at WL.

  • Do not submit the same article multiple times.
  • Ensure your article is polished and complete. Avoid submitting updated versions.
  • Focus on a unique, specific subject rather than broad themes like “How to Be Happy.” For instance, a popular article on WL is titled “Wabi-Sabi Your Life: 6 Strategies for Embracing Imperfection,” which is specific and widely engaging.
  • We love lists and insightful pieces that readers will want to read, share, and discuss.
  • Articles must be unpublished and original, not appearing anywhere else online.

For more details, please refer to our Writer’s Guide. You can also check for originality with Edubirdie’s free plagiarism checker HERE.

Every Author gets a Byline and Bio

Promotional links are not allowed in the body of your article

We reserve the right to decline articles containing links to e-commerce pages or homepages within the article body. Links that do not add value or provide essential references will be removed. If your goal is to build links to your website, please use the Author Bio section to include your website link instead.
